Concrete Contractor services in Wilmington Island

Wilmington Island is a barrier island suburb between Savannah and Tybee, and it is not a city. It is unincorporated, so permits come from Chatham County. Most of the island was built out from the 1960s through the 1980s with ranch and split-level houses on wide lots, and a good share of them back onto marsh or tidal creeks. The original driveways are now old enough to be worn out, and replacing them is our most common job here. Pines and live oaks have lifted plenty of slabs. On marsh-side lots the back yard may flood on the highest tides, so patios and pool decks are planned with that in mind. Salt air reaches the whole island. We use a dense mix, keep steel deep in the slab and slope everything to drain.
